Good TV
I finally finished my applications for fall! ya!! Technically I have finished but I'm now doing round 2 bullhonkey which includes more writing and selling myself. Selling myself has to be one of the things I HATE doing most after college. NOW, I have to convince you that I am the most expereinced, hardworking, educated, able to acquire new skills easily, goal oriented, self-motivated effective communicator (and so much more) while still showing that I have so much to learn and would love the opportunity to work for you. ????? Ugh. Just meet me, and you can get a pretty good idea of who I am just by talking to me for an hour. I am who I am in an interview, which I have to say has worked out for me so far. I'm not about "I I I I I I I " I am able to admit the areas I need to work on but in all honesty I have like a 95% success rate in my life so far... which is comforting. I'm feeling good about where I am. Still lovin the job. Stoked about starting at MD Anderson. Not so stoked about a possible 18 interviews within the next month. Still in love and think I could possibly have the most loving/caring boy in the world. Anxious to see where I will be in the fall (Honolulu anyone??!?!?!?!?) AND............ It's GREAT TV FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS! American Idol is coming to an end, Biggest Loser finale!, Americas Next Top Model coming to an end, Amazing Race finale! and I can officially start the countdown til PROJECT RUNWAY! Life is good.

Deaf Jam
--Non-fat Black Tea Lattes have to be one of the best things in the world. I can't afford to go to Starbucks everyday so I bought all the supplies to make them myself. I use Tazo tea (early grey or awake) Low-fat milk or Soy milk and a teaspoon of honey. I put it in a blender (because a latte isn't a latte without the FOAM!) I'm not going to lie, they don't taste identical to Starbucks but they are cheaper to make and I think they are still delicious.
--I'm teaching 1st and 2nd grade deaf education for the next 6 weeks and I absolutly love it. It makes me nervous that I like it so much because that's not what I went to school for and NOT what I am pursuing at the time. It was more like a job in the meantime in order to make some money.... I am starting my internship at MD Anderson in a month and I'm super excited, but I am really going to miss teaching my kiddos. =( How do they expect you at the age of 23 to know what you want to do??? I want to do A LOT of things, but hopefully after the internship I will really get a feel for where I belong. There is something about sign language that I just adore. I am in love with the culture, the language, the people... everything.
Whatever I do, I know it will involve sign language. It's a part of me now.

Sick
Great. Right when the weather is absolutely perfect...I get sick.
I'm a 90 degrees NO wind kind of girl and a huge outsider (not as in loser)... I LOVE to be outside! That is why I DEPERATELY MISS MY BELOVED AUSTIN. TX!!! Ugh. Nothing is worst then coming back to the city you hated once before to find out.... you still hate it. No dog parks, No great cafe's, No people jogging, No beach volleyball right around the corner, Nothing of anything that I love doing. Can you hear the hostility in my writing??? Do you know how ridiculous I would look if I set up my easel outside and started painting here in Pasadena or even Houston for that matter? But in Austin, nobody ever questioned or took a double take. It was perfectly normal.
I need to find a way to like (dare I say love) this city. I really need to start finding all the wonderful things about Houston that will keep me alive in this town. I know it will never be Austin, but maybe, just maybe one day I could say I'm proud to be from Houston.
I'm such a brat.

Ok So I've decided to join the rest of the world and become a blogger. I had so much I wanted to say but I've spent the last hour or more trying to figure this whole thing out that now I'm exhausted and find little enjoyment in writing right now. boo.
I'm pretty excited about figuring this whole blog thing out. Not that I think anyone will even read my blogs but I've always wanted to put my thought down on paper but never took the time or energy to do so.
I feel like I am at a point in my life where I have so much I want to do, places I want to go, dreams I want to accomplish etc etc. and I'm just stuck. I know I am doing EVERYTHING possible to be the successful woman I want to be, and some would say I already am somewhat successful, but I have BIGGER plans and they aren't unfolding exactly the way I want ...or really as fast as I want. I need to learn to be patient. breeeathe.
My best friend Stacy is here from Dallas and I'm super excited, I love her to death. We went through pretty much the exact same expereinces in HS. You know, the crappy boyfriend, the break up, the next crappy boyfriend and so on.... We are pretty much inseparable now.
I am not the person I was 6 months or even a year ago. I think that's why I want to do this blog. New me, new things, and new blogs to capture it all.
